Installation environment

Installation environment: The butterfly valve can be used both indoors and outdoors, but the corresponding material combination shall be used in corrosive media and places prone to rust. Consult Zhongzhi valve for special working conditions.

Device site: It is installed in a place where it can be safely operated and easy to maintain, inspect and repair.

Ambient environment: temperature - 20 ℃~+70 ℃, humidity below 90% RH. Before installation, check whether the valve meets the operating requirements according to the nameplate marks on the valve. Note: The butterfly valve does not have the ability to resist high pressure difference. Do not allow the butterfly valve to open or flow continuously under high pressure difference.

Before valve installation

Before installation, please remove dirt, oxidation scale and other impurities in the pipeline. During installation, please note that the flow direction of the medium shall be consistent with the flow direction arrow marked on the valve body.

Align the front and rear piping centers, make the flange joints parallel, and lock the screws evenly. Note that the pneumatic butterfly valve cannot have excessive piping stress on the cylinder control valve.

Maintenance precautions

Daily inspection: check for leakage, abnormal noise, vibration, etc.

Regular inspection: check the valves and other system elements regularly for leakage, rust and jamming, and maintain, clean and remove dust, residue, etc.

Disassembly inspection: the valve shall be disassembled and overhauled at regular intervals. During disassembly and overhaul, parts shall be flushed again, foreign matters, stains and rust shall be removed, gaskets and packings damaged or seriously worn shall be replaced, and sealing surfaces shall be corrected. After overhaul, the valve shall undergo hydrostatic test again, and can be reused only after being qualified.
